As we journey through our “Year of Inspiration and Discovery” in 2026, Mother Nature has thrown us another curveball. The recent ice storm left quite a mess at Cheekwood, and despite their tireless cleanup efforts, the grounds and facilities simply won’t be ready to welcome us on February 16.

So, with a touch of reluctance (and a lot of longing to see your smiling faces in person!), I must let you know that our February meeting will once again be held online-only via Zoom where I will be leading a talk on growing orchids in terrariums—a creative, space-efficient way to cultivate these stunning plants. Whether you are dealing with limited room, humidity challenges, or simply looking for a fun new project, we will cover setup tips, species recommendations, and troubleshooting to help your terrariums thrive.
