The Motherland okra is nutritious and delicious. The seeds are rich in protein . It originated from West Africa. It has extra-large leaves that are edible. The flowers are also extra-large and beautiful. The plant, at optimum growing conditions can attain a height of about 12 feet. It is noted that the seeds can be roasted, ground and used in place of coffee. If this plant is going to be in a container, the container should be at least 30 gallon capacity because it is a very large plant and is prolific.
