Not many growers have fruited this variety yet in the USA, so it is very rare.It appreciates acid pH, and some shade while it’s young (30-50% shade is good when the tree is still less than 4-5ft, especially if you live where it gets over 100F, and there is risk of drought). They can survive down to approximately 27-25F if exposure is brief. Trees grown from seeds are not always identical to the parent tree. Place all plants in a spot of moderate temperatures (70-80F) in good light but NOT in a direct sun for two weeks until they adjust from shipping in darkness . NO direct sun, NO partial shade – FULL SHADE ONLY! Sun will burn small plants! Allow the plants a week or two to adjust to their new home before transplanting or fertilizing.
