Red Creole Onion (Allium cepa) is a medium sized vidalia type onion that is the all-popular onion you’d put on your cheeseburger or put in your salads. This heirloom will produce crisp red onions that are globe shaped and 3-4″ in diameter. A little less sweet than traditional red onions but slightly spicier. As a result this variety will store well. Best grown in the south over winter.
