Giant Sequoia Trees – Potted- 12-16″ tall, 16-24″ tall, and 24-30″ tall

July 9, 2026

Potted Giant Sequoia Tree (Sequoiadendron giganteum) The largest trees in the world. A fast growing evergreen tree that will grow 2 – 3 feet per year in ideal conditions. Grows in USDA zones 6 – 8. Likes full sun (at least 6 – 8 hours of direct sunlight). Great for a specimen tree or as a buffer strip or wind break, planted 20 feet apart. Likes an acidic, composty, well drained soil. Likes moisture, but will not live in standing water or flooded areas. It is not drought tolerant. Great tree for wildlife shelter. If you are planning to plant in a container for 6 months to a year and then plant in the ground, we recommend our Quick Draining Potting Soil Mix. If you are planning to do a bonsai, we have several inorganic and inorganic/organic potting mixes that would work well. Check all out in our Shop. Scenic Hill Farm is a licensed Oregon Nursery. Check out our Shop! Free Shipping to most locations. We cannot ship to AK, HI, APO, US Territories, or areas considered remote without a freight surcharge. If your temperature is warmer than 89 degrees or colder than 20 degrees we will hold order until temperature improves. Please put your desired ship date in Special Instructions to Seller at checkout. All plants are inspected for quality prior to shipment. Let us know upon arrival if you have any concerns regarding your plant’s condition. Please message us prior to placing your order if you have any questions. 9/24
