An old English heirloom variety brought to Canada in the 1920s, they are said to be named after the Ireland Creek Farm in BC where they’ve been grown since the ’30s. Cool-season tolerant and very early maturing, they bear long pods on heavily laden bush plants. A VERY solid producer of buff-yellow to mustard-colored beans that cook down to a deliciously rich, creamy texture. Excellent for soups, sauces, and spreads. Organically grown.
