Angela and I attended the Smokey Mountain Orchid Show in Knoxville last weekend.  We ran into Sheila Nicholson of Owen’s Orchids. She was one of the vendors at the MAOC Show our chapter sponsored several years ago.  She will be in Nashville close to the date of our meeting servicing one of her clients. To make a long story short, , she has agreed to attend our October meeting and bring a van load of a variety of plants that can be purchased.  She is not charging our chapter to attend our meeting. I hope everyone shows their appreciation by attending the meeting and see if you see a plant that you just have to have.

On another subject; we have enough chairs to seat about twenty people.  In order to make sure you don’t have to stand all of the time; you may wish to bring a folding chair.  We certainly look forward to seeing everyone on October 12th.  The hours have been expanded and will now be from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
