1 Large Potted Pineapple Strawberry Plant. Exquisite Tasting. Hardy June Bearer

July 8, 2026

One rooted potted Pineapple Strawberry plant, ready to transplant, or leave them in the pots for a while. Hardy to northern winters, zones 4-10. Taste like they are a cross between a pineapple and a strawberry. (but they aren’t). Perhaps the tastiest strawberry you will ever eat. You will find yourself checking each day to scarf any newly ripened berries. These shoot off large quantities of runners. So you can propagate quickly. Or, cut the runners off for larger berry production. Very easy to grow. Needs moderate to bright sunlight, medium amounts of water and fertilizer. We use organic soybean meal with a bit of lime and sulfur. A boost of phosphorous will promote flowering. Great for either pots or garden growing. Berries tend to be medium sized, but quite prolific. Plant them away from other strawberry plants because these strawberries are white with a bit of red blush when ripe. Other strawberry types are not ripe at that color stage. The berries will be hard to tell them apart if mixed with red strawberry plants. If you do mix these plants with other red berry strawberry plants, you can recognize these plants apart from most other strawberry plants by the design of the blossom. Pineapple strawberry blossoms will have a green star mixed in the white petal flower, separating the petals. They will also have red seeds, while most other strawberries with have brown or tan colored seeds These plants are healthy and vibrant. If you have any difficulties at all, just send us a kind note and we will fix any issue. Please don’t leave poor feedback. We are all at the mercy of shipping times and sometimes poor shipping conditions, of no fault to anyone. But we will make right anything that is wrong. Thanks so much for your kind support.

A 30 day “cold stratification” & using a heated propagator to keep temperatures at an optimal warmth is a Must for Germination of the Strawberry Tree Seeds. Seed germination is strongly influenced by the temperature and shows an optimal temperature of 68°F that gives an appx. rate of 19.2%. When set to a higher temperature of 86°F seeds recorded a much higher rate of 18% germination. Needless to say, after cold stratification, keep the temperature at 86+ degrees F for optimal chances.1) Soak seeds in “Warm Water” for 6 days. Be sure to change water Daily.2) Place the seeds in a moist paper towel and place inside of a zip lock bag. Cut a few tiny holes into bag. Then to cold stratify, place in the fridge for 30 days. This will help increase germination rates greatly. They grow 2 to 4 feet in height with dark green foliage. They are fast growers and self-sow their seed profusely. These midsummer bloomers can flower from midsummer through fall frost! Coneflowers have raised cone-like centers (hence, the name) which contain seeds that attract butterflies. Leave the seed heads after bloom and you’ll also attract songbirds! Trouble-free, coneflowers are drought-tolerant, once established. They can take the heat! As native plants with prickly stems, they are more deer-resistant than most flowering plants. Growing Coneflower From SeedsDampen a Paper TowelFold a paper towel in half. Sprinkle it with water until it’s barely damp but not soggy.Treat the SeedsSprinkle the coneflower seeds on one-half of the paper towel. Fold the towel in half so the seeds are between two layers of moist towel. Seal the towel in a plastic bag and keep it in the refrigerator for eight to 12 weeks. This cold treatment mimics winter conditions and helps the seeds break dormancy so they can germinate. Prep the PotsFill 8-inch-deep seedling pots with moistened potting soil. Coneflowers need extra-deep pots because they develop very long taproots.Sow the SeedsSow two coneflower seeds in each pot, covering them with only a thin sprinkling of soil, and allow the pots to drain.Cover the PotsCover the pots with clear plastic to retain moisture and keep the pots in a warm room to germinate.Remove the BagRemove the bag once the seeds sprout and provide the seedlings with full sunlight. Water the plants when the soil surface dries.Transplant the SeedlingsMove the coneflowers outside once they produce their second set of true leaves and after average nighttime temperatures are above 55 degrees Fahrenheit. Transplant them to a full-sun, well-drained perennial bed.Water the ConeflowersProvide coneflowers with approximately 1 inch of water a week during the growing season. Apply up to 1 inch of compost around each plant in spring to replenish the nutrients in the soil.Store PoliciesAll seeds will come in a resalable plastic zip lock bag and placed in a bubble envelope so the seeds are not damaged by shipping machines.
