We have been active farmers and plant propagators for a number of years, and we specialized in the production of plant plugs, or basically miniature seedlings, for our on farm use. As such, we learned a great deal about seedling production and also the proper storage, handling and identification of quality seeds through intensive hands on experience. Consequently, we’re excited to be able to offer you the finest and freshest seeds available. Here is another of our favorite offerings: LEMONGRASS CYMBOPOGON FLEXUOSUS* Lemongrass is said to be an excellent mosquito repellent. Mosquitoes have been shown to avoid lemongrass because of the strong citrus like smell it possesses.* Lemongrass is grown as an annual in cool regions, and as a perennial in warmer areas. It’s season can also be extended if brought indoors during winter to grow in a container or pot.* To use lemongrass as a mosquito repellent, just place the plants around the perimeter of the space you want to exclude mosquitoes. For example, you’d want to place the lemongrass around a patio, deck or any other outdoor space.* This highly ornamental, medicinal perennial grass is native to Thailand, India, Burma and Sri Lanka. It is also called Cochin grass or Malabar Grass.* The essential oil that is extracted is being studied for its anti-cancer inhibiting abilities. In addition, the extracted essential oil has anti-bacterial activity and has even been shown to halt the growth of the deadly strain MRSA!* Lemongrass has a citrus flavor and is used extensively in a variety of cuisines including Thai, Vietnamese and Indian dishes among others. In particular, it is used to flavor curries, sauces, soups, fish and chicken dishes.* It is considered by many to be one of the top seasonings in the world. It is very aromatic and lends a fantastic flavor to everything it is put in.* Lemongrass is also used to flavor teas, ice cream, pastries and even candy!* Lemongrass is great for container gardening and can be brought indoors during the winter to grow it as a houseplant. This way you could harvest the wonderful tasting leaves year around to add some zing to your foods! In the summer, you could place it back outside and let it repel mosquitoes!* The oil that is extracted from Cymbopogon Flexuosus is shown to have analgesic, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and anti-oxidant properties.* The oil is reported to be excellent for aromatherapy for stress reduction and relaxation. We also offer numerous other complementary herbs, vegetables and flowers for the garden. Check out our other items for additional varieties of flowers! Shanghai Bok Choy Seeds Shanghai pak choi, also known as bok choy, is a type of Chinese cabbage that is commonly used in stir-fry dishes and salads. It has dark green leaves and white stalks that are crisp and tender. To grow Shanghai pak choi from seeds, you can follow these steps: Start by selecting a sunny location in your garden with well-draining soil. The soil should be fertile and rich in organic matter. Sow the seeds directly into the soil about 1/4 inch deep, and space them about 6 inches apart in rows that are 12-18 inches apart. Water the seeds well and keep the soil moist until the seeds germinate, which usually takes about 7-10 days. Once the seedlings have grown to about 2-3 inches tall, thin them out so that each plant is spaced about 8-10 inches apart. Water the plants regularly, making sure to keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Fertilize the plants every few weeks with a balanced fertilizer. Mulch around the plants to help retain moisture and suppress weeds. Harvest the pak choi when the leaves are about 6-8 inches long and the stalks are tender. Cut the stalks at the base of the plant with a sharp knife or scissors, being careful not to damage the surrounding leaves. By following these steps, you should be able to grow Shanghai pak choi from seeds and enjoy fresh, crisp, and flavorful greens in your meals.

1 full pound of Micro Clover seeds – 100% seed with nitro coating material Will cover 1000 to 2000 square feet · If over seeding existing lawn ½ – 1 lb per 1000 sq feet · Planting straight micro clover 1 lb -2 lbs per 1000 sq feet Micro Clover (Trifolium repens) is a perennial, drought tolerant white clover only growing to approximately 4 – 6 inches tall making it ideal for a lawn alternative or to mix with your current lawn grass. Micro Clover, a very small leaved white clover, also produces stolons so that it can spread itself evenly over the ground. Adding just 2 – 5% of Micro Clover to the grass seed mixture will result in a much-improved lawn. It has all the benefits of regular white clover just packed into smaller leaves. Micro Clover ability to pull nitrogen from the air and fix or convert it to a usable form by the plants makes it a great companion for turf grass varieties making them more drought tolerant. This is due to nitrogen fixation benefiting the turf grass plants as well producing a healthy, dense, and naturally fertilized clover lawn that will require very little fertilizer maintenance. · Drought resistant · Does well in partially shaded areas · 4 – 6 inches tall · Remains greener much longer than lawn grasses · Superior wear tolerance · Very easy to grow and establish · Great for mass plantings · Multiplies · Easy to Grow · Low maintenance · Soil Enhancer Light Requirements: · Full sun / half shade
