The Fronds are Narrow with Fishtail Shaped Ends, Giving the Leaf a Feathery Appearance. Fishtail Palms are Medium in Size, Growing to around 15-20, and Grow Extremely Fast once they’re Established. It Can Thrive in Zones 9b-11.It is an easy to grow species that will perform best in a reliably moist sandy soil in full sun although it will tolerate half-shade in hotter climates. That being said it has proven to tolerate clay and loam soils which can also be slightly alkaline or acidic.
