Care Information WATERING: Maintain a consistent watering schedule to keep your air plants healthy. Underwatering is better than overwatering as excessive moisture can lead to root rot. Watch for signs: if leaves turn brown or curl up, it may indicate the need for more water. Conversely, if leaves turn black or the plant becomes soft, it may be getting too much water. ENVIRONMENT: Consider your specific environment when determining watering frequency. Factors such as climate, air flow, and lighting affect the needs of your air plants. For instance, if your air-conditioned home has low light, watering once a week might be appropriate. SUNLIGHT: Protect your air plants from direct sunlight to prevent damage. Avoid exposing them to direct sunlight, especially between 10 AM and 2 PM, as it can cause burns. Keep in mind that all our plants are greenhouse-grown and not adapted to direct sunlight. Medinilla Apoensis “Philippine Pink” Live Flowering Plant
It does enjoy being misted by water often, especially in the dry winter months. It cannot tolerate temperatures below 50 degrees F. I will only replace the plant if it is badly broken, crushed, or dead on arrival.
