Jumbo Amaryllis BARBADOS 36/38 centimeters – US Seller This plant will grow and bloom indoors as it has been forced to do so. It makes a wonderful and exotic gift! Simply plant and water 6 – 8 weeks prior to giving for a live and unusual gift. When comparing listings and prices please take note of the size of the bulb. These are jumbo bulbs not small 8 cm bulbs that will take years before blooming. This is truly one of the easiest bulbs to grow and enjoy! Once the flower has bloomed, it can be planted out doors in warmer climates or kept in the pot in colder climates. Let the leaves continue to grow and store energy for next year. The leaves will die back some in the wintertime, but will usually come back and bloom again each spring if it is not subjected to standing water for long periods of time.
