Magnolia Liliiflora Shrub Bush Seeds, Mulan Tulip Lily Flower Magnolia, USA

July 9, 2026

Magnolia Liliiflora Also known as: Mulan Magnolia, Tulip or Lily Magnolia This here is a native to southwest China and it is a beauty! It is a deciduous shrub, not a tree, to 4m tall (smaller than most other Magnolias), and is compact enough to fit attractively into small yards and landscaping. It blooms profusely in early spring with fragrant large pink to purple showy flowers, before the leaf buds open. The blossoms will continue throughout the season and some may appear in the summer. Magnolias are shallow rooted plants and one of the surest ways to slow the growth process or even kill a new specimen is to plant it too deep. The root collar should be above the soil and the shoulders of the main roots at or just barely below the soil surface. Avoid disturbing the roots after planting. It is also drought tolerant provided the roots have had a chance to firmly anchor themselves. It should be planted in full sun if possible and protected from strong winds. You should not need to do much pruning for this species or for Magnolia trees and shrubs in general. If you find that some trimming is in order (i.e. you have wood that has become dead, damaged or diseased), you should make your cuts right after the shrub has finished blooming. Germination can take many months and some report up to a year, so patience is much needed but well worth the wait. USDA Zones 6 – 9. Magnolia liliiflora has been known to survive winter temperatures as low as -4°F (-10°C). Some of the cultivars and hybrids are hardy to zone 5. This offer is for 10 seeds. For complete transparency we include payment processing & Ebay fees in our shipping/handling cost.*DISCLAIMER*NO RETURNS/REFUNDS/REPLACEMENTS ON SEEDSMost specialty seeds we offer are NOT fast to germinate. Many take several weeks, months, and some even up towards a year depending on dormancy, region, season etc. It is important that the buyer understands that seeds are perishable products and seed germination can be adversely affected by such factors as mold/fungus, bugs, temperature, moisture content, light intensity, dormancy, care, contamination of planting media among many other reasons. These factors are totally out of The Plant Attraction’s control and are the buyer’s responsibility and risk. Germination recommendations are sent with each order and the buyer is free to research and use their own methods. Floating seeds do not always indicate that the seed is not viable. Many times it is a misconception because the seed does not have the density to sink in water. Accordingly, The Plant Attraction does not guarantee seeds to perform properly regardless of conditions or buyer’s methods or mistakes. Since 2006 we have been doing our best to hand sort and provide the freshest, cleanest harvest that is free of defects and bugs.

Tree Tobacco is a fast-growing, drought-tolerant shrub native to South America, where it can often be found growing alongside trails and roadways, and in abandoned fields and other disturbed areas. Plant has blueish-green, lance shaped leaves and can grow to between 10 and 20 feet in height. It produces numerous clusters of tubular, yellow flowers that attract bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and other pollinators. Please note this is a strictly ornamental plant and should not be consumed. Direct sow in spring by gently pressing the seeds into soil’s surface. Keep soil lightly moist until germination, which should occur within 7 to 14 days. To start indoors, plant seeds 8 to 10 weeks before the last spring frost. 1000 Midewiwan Sacred Tobacco, Nicotiana rustica, Aztec Tobacco, Wildflower

July 9, 2026

Test Midewiwan Sacred Tobacco (Nicotiana rustica) Check out our other listings! Midewiwan Sacred Tobacco, also known as Wild Tobacco and Aztec Tobacco, is an annual tobacco species originally from South America, though it has long been cultivated in North America. Plant grows to about 2 feet in height and produces large, soft yellow flowers that bloom from July through September. Considered a sacred plant by almost all Native American tribes, it has long been used medicinally to treat sprains, bruises, and infected wounds, as well as ceremonially as a conduit for communing with local deities or as an offering to animist spirits. When smoked, N. rustica is said to be earthier and deeper than modern commercial tobaccos, and the plant is extremely potent, containing up to ten times more nicotine than a standard leaf of N. tabacum. Easy to grow and readily self-seeds. Tobacco Germination Guide Select the soil and container in which to start your seeds. For soil, use a seed starting mix for the best results. You may also use a soil-less potting mix, which is cheaper and widely available at most garden centers. For the container, use seed trays or small pots around three or four inches tall. Fill your pots or seed trays with potting mix to within 1/2 inch of the top. Thoroughly soak the soil with water and allow the excess water drain off before planting. Place 2-3 seeds per seed tray cell or pot on top of the soil. Tobacco seeds require light for germination, so do not cover them with soil. Cover the trays or pots with plastic or a seeding dome to increase humidity and raise the temperature of the soil, then place the trays/pots on a sunny windowsill or beneath a grow light. The seeds will germinate quicker when the soil temperature is between 70 to 80°F. Water the seeds whenever the top of layer of soil appears dry. Be careful not to overwater, and take care not to move/wash away the seeds when watering. To avoid any potential issues, consider watering from the bottom or lightly misting the soil with water from a spray bottle. Remove the plastic or seed dome from the the pots/trays once the seedlings have germinated. Once the seedlings reach about 3 inches in height you may transplant them to bigger pots or directly into your garden. If transplanting to your garden, select an area that receives partial to full sunlight. Space the seedlings 12-26 inches apart, in rows that are 36-60 inches apart. Water thoroughly after transplanting, daily until plants are established, and 2 to 3 times per week thereafter.
