6 Areca palm 8” Starter seedling LIVE PLANTS! Fully Rooted! VERY Healthy!

July 8, 2026

SOLD OUT OF 10 batches! All super positive! These are wonderful little trees!! If you follow the simple instructions I send with ea order. 6 ORGANICALLY GROWN Areca palm Starter seedling LIVE PLANTS! I BUTTERFLY garden so no pesticides ever in my garden Fully Rooted! VERY Healthy starter palms!! ! Sent bare root carefully protected in wet medium. At least 6” tall! Can be indoor specimens in a bright window or outdoor as a palm or dense screen. They are easy to grow, low maintenance and so happy and bright! Dypsis lutescens, also known as golden cane palm, areca palm, yellow palm, or butterfly palm, is a glorious species of flowering plant in the family Arecaceae, native to Madagascar and naturalized in many areas including south Florida. The Areca Palm is easily grown outside in tropical and subtropical regions. It flourishes in areas with sandy soil where water is ample and soil drainage is good. In such areas, it is most often grown in full sun but does quite well in part day sun or filtered light. In fact mine are greener, healthier and much more robust in only part sun. Full sun in Florida & other hot areas is just too hot in summer. Water regularly while letting the soil mix dry on the surface before watering again. Watering must be regular but limited, in order to not suffocate the plant's roots. watering every 2 or 3 days is usually best. But adding some sand to a potting mix for indoor plants would insure roots stay healthy even if overwatered. Areca Palm ( latescent) is one of the most widely used palms for bright interiors. It features feathery, arching fronds, each with up to 100 leaflets. These big, bold plants command attention. Areca palms are one of the very best air purifying plants according to the ratings from NASA’s research, it has the 8th highest removal rate for formaldehyde according to Dr. Wolverton's data. As effective as an electric humidifier! -Areca Palm gets its nickname, the butterfly palm, because its long feathery fronds (leaves) arch upwards off multiple reed- like stems, resembling butterfly wings. Inside Areca palms Require bright, indirect light. -Areca palms are non-toxic to both dogs and cats. -Great for containers both inside and outside of the home! Makes a great privacy screen, accent plant or garden backdrop if planted in ground & will get large! -USA Hardiness zones 9-11 Smoke free home. Shipped within 24hrs, properly protected via USPS 1st class Mail. **If you order 3 or more sets they will go priority mail.

Simply soak them in tepid water for 20-40 minutes once every week or two, ensuring they fully dry within 2 hours after watering. Most species appreciate regular misting as well. Adequate airflow and proper drying conditions after watering are essential for their health. Detailed care instructions will be provided with each order. AIR PLANTS BENEFICIAL EFFECTS: Breathe in the benefits of these remarkable air plants. They release fresh oxygen while capturing and filtering harmful particles from the air, promoting a clean and purified atmosphere in your home. Rest assured, these Tillandsia air plants are non-toxic to pets and children, making them a safe and natural addition to your indoor environment. HEALTHY LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE: Your satisfaction is our top priority. We guarantee the arrival of healthy and vibrant air plants. Our plants are carefully shipped from Kentucky, and each order is covered by a 100% live arrival and healthy condition guarantee. If you have any concerns or issues with your plants, please contact us within 30 days, and we will provide a full refund or replacement. Care Information WATERING: Maintain a consistent watering schedule to keep your air plants healthy. Underwatering is better than overwatering as excessive moisture can lead to root rot. Watch for signs: if leaves turn brown or curl up, it may indicate the need for more water. Conversely, if leaves turn black or the plant becomes soft, it may be getting too much water. ENVIRONMENT: Consider your specific environment when determining watering frequency. Factors such as climate, air flow, and lighting affect the needs of your air plants. For instance, if your air-conditioned home has low light, watering once a week might be appropriate. SUNLIGHT: Protect your air plants from direct sunlight to prevent damage. Avoid exposing them to direct sunlight, especially between 10 AM and 2 PM, as it can cause burns. Keep in mind that all our plants are greenhouse-grown and not adapted to direct sunlight. AIR CIRCULATION: Proper air circulation is crucial for the well-being of air plants. A kitchen or any room with sufficient light will provide suitable conditions. If the temperature permits, placing them outside can enhance air flow (recommended temperature range: 60°F – 80°F). TEMPERATURE: Air plants are resilient and can tolerate a wide range of temperatures. Most varieties thrive in temperatures in the high 70s. To stimulate vibrant colors, consider exposing them to larger temperature differentials between day and night.
