BLUE GLOBE THISTLE SEEDS packed 20

July 9, 2026

The globe thistle resembles a weed until bloom time when the plant explodes with perfect steely blue spheres. This charmer looks like a peppy pom-pom in fresh arrangements. Snip a few for drying, and you’ll enjoy globe thistle long after the growing season. This hardy plant doesn’t just tolerate poor soil conditions, it prefers dry soils with little organic matter. In sites that are too rich, globe thistle can struggle.Globe thistle needs full sun; any amount of shade runs the risk of developing floppy plants. Too much shade will discourage blooms on the plants, as well as a looser plant habit.Packed 20

ASTER, RAINBOW FLOWER SEEDS, 100 SEEDS, BEAUTIFUL VIVID BRIGHT BLOOMS

July 9, 2026

ASTER, RAINBOW FLOWER SEEDS, 100 SEEDS, ORGANIC, BEAUTIFUL VIVID BRIGHT BLOOMS ASTER, RAINBOW FLOWER SEEDS, 100 SEEDS, BEAUTIFUL VIVID BRIGHT BLOOMS Click images to enlarge Description HARVESTED AND PACKAGED BY HAND IN RESEALABLE AIR TIGHT BAGS (EACH BAG IS INDIVIDUALLY LABELED). Growing Asters is easy. Perennial Aster flowers grow well in average soils, but needs full sun. Aster flowers come in blues, purples and a variety of pinks. All Asters are yellow in the center of the flower. They are daisy-like in appearance, even though they are a member of the sunflower family. Did you know? The yellow center of Asters is actually comprised of many tiny flowerets. Asters come in a wide variety, with some less than a foot tall, while others are two feet tall or more. Both large and smaller varieties make good cut flowers for vases and arrangements. Plant Height: up to 24 inches Asters are easily grown from division. Aster plants do best, if divided every two to three years. Simply dig out half to two thirds of the plants, leaving the remainder in place. Then separate the portion you dug out into two sections and plant in another location or give them to a friend. Aster seeds can also be directly seeded into your flower garden, or seeded indoors for transplanting later. We recommend planting Asters in pots and containers indoors, then transplanting the seedlings outdoors in early spring. This allows you to make the proper spacing. Sow Aster seeds early in the season, and cover lightly with soil. Water thoroughly once. The seeds germinate easily and plants grow quickly, producing their first of a continual display of blooms by mid-summer. Transplant Asters into your garden into an area where they can be grown for years. Spacing depends upon size with miniature varieties spaced four to six inches apart, and Giant varieties one to two feet apart. Place smaller varieties around the front of your flower garden as a border. Put larger varieties towards the back of the flowerbed. Seed Germination: 8 – 10 days Flowers Bloom: Summer/Fall TESTED FOR GERMINATION. All seeds are packaged and for the current growing season. About Us We are a small family run seed processor that has a long tradition of farming for many generations. I fondly remember my Grandfather telling stories about his Grandfather tilling the earth and the events that impacted his success. The stories bring to life the courage and creativity required to survive capricious weather and market prices. Our history makes it clear that the rewards of farming, including the birthing of the calves, the bounty of a good harvest, and the family’s feeling of being rooted in the soil. I still remember with pride, getting to sit on my Grandfathers lap while driving the tractor for the first time during corn harvest. In addition to commercial crops, most family farms also have large gardens to grow much of the food consumed on a farm. Growing your own vegetables, flowers, spices and herbs, canning and freezing were a normal part of life on the farm. We always saved seed from each plant for starting the cycle for the next year. We would like the opportunity to share some of these seeds with you.
