This is a great bean plant hands down that produces a lot of bean pods, that yields abundant cluster of thick meaty green pods. Heavy yields over an extended period.This 2ft plant Produces long straight 7-9 inch long dark green pods with a strong distinctively rich “beany” flavor that are white seeds when left to dry out on the pole plant. They are scrumptious just steamed with a little butter or use them in your own freshly made soup, marinated or in any green bean recipe. These seeds are from 2023 and have been packed for the 2024 growing season. In spring, once weather is warm and settled and night temperatures stay above 55°F (13°C), plant seeds in well-worked, fertile soil in full sun. Poke seeds 1 inch deep and 4 inches apart in rows 1 1/2 to 2 feet apart. Then stake them up when they start to grow.
