Untitled DocumentStoreFeedbackFollow UsTrue Wild Dandelionplay a valuable role in supporting pollinators. The bright yellow flowers of dandelions are rich in nectar and pollen, making them an essential food source for bees, butterflies, and other pollinating insects. As early bloomers in the spring, dandelions provide an important nectar and pollen source when fewer flowers are available. The accessibility of dandelion flowers, with their open structure, makes it easy for a variety of pollinators to access the nectar and pollen. Bees, including honeybees and native bees, are frequent visitors to dandelion blooms. Butterflies, such as the small tortoiseshell and painted lady, also benefit from the nourishment provided by dandelion flowers. In urban and suburban areas where monoculture lawns often prevail, dandelions can offer a critical food source for pollinators, contributing to the overall health and diversity of local ecosystems. Therefore, allowing dandelions to grow in certain areas or delaying their removal until after they have bloomed can be a positive practice for supporting pollinators. All parts of the dandelion plant can be harvested and used in cooking, tea or for tinctures. The young leaves can be used in salads. Once dried, the roots can be used for tea. The flowers can be fried for stir-fries.Seed Quantity NOTE: To conserve resources we combine all orders of duplicate seed quantities of the same variety into one pack. Pink Hawksbeard / Crepis Rubra Flower – 25 seeds, fast growing and bright pink!

July 9, 2026

25 seeds of Crepis Rubra/Pink Hawksbeard flower – that looks like pink dandelions. One full-size plant will make many flowers over a few weeks. Pink Hawksbeard is quick to germinate and easy to grow, it prefers cooler weather of late spring to flower. It produces seed heads like dandelions, however it does not readily self-seed/spread. In my experience, it grows better in pots than in ground. Once it starts producing flowers, new flowers will blossom nearly every day. Prefers full/part sunlight and loamy, rich soil. Germination tested Aug 2024. Shipped via first-class mail. US buyers only. Normal US Postal Service delivers within 5 Business days, however due to US Postal Service re-vamping, delivery may be delayed up to 10 Business days. Please keep this time frame in mind and ensure you check your mail. Tips:Store seeds in a cool, dry place and they will be viable for several yearsTo plant: **Press seeds into soil, do not bury**. Seeds sprout quickly in 4-7 days. Keep moist until they sprout. Start plants 4-6 weeks before last frost and transplant outdoors once temperatures remain above 50 degrees Liability related to these seeds is limited to purchase cost.
