About Us We are a small family run seed processor that has a long tradition of farming for many generations. I fondly remember my Grandfather telling stories about his Grandfather tilling the earth and the events that impacted his success. The stories bring to life the courage and creativity required to survive capricious weather and market prices. Our history makes it clear that the rewards of farming, including the birthing of the calves, the bounty of a good harvest, and the family’s feeling of being rooted in the soil. I still remember with pride, getting to sit on my Grandfathers lap while driving the tractor for the first time during corn harvest. In addition to commercial crops, most family farms also have large gardens to grow much of the food consumed on a farm. Growing your own vegetables, flowers, spices and herbs, canning and freezing were a normal part of life on the farm. We always saved seed from each plant for starting the cycle for the next year. We would like the opportunity to share some of these seeds with you. Pineapple Weed (Matricaria discoidea) Seeds

July 8, 2026

Pineapple weed, or disc mayweed, is an annual but re-seeds readily. It grows to 6 to 8 inches tall and develops yellow mounded looking flowers. They do not develop flower petals, only the yellow head. They are a cousin to the Roman and German chamomile flowers and can be used for tea as chamomile is. They prefer to grow in dry areas: gravel, cracks of sidewalks, edges of driveways, or roadway sides. Would grow well in a rock garden where it doesn’t get much water. Spew the seeds where you want them to grow and they’ll do the rest. Mark it so you know what you planted. The leaves and flower tops are used in teas. They do have a pineapple scent and the yellow flowers do have a light pineapple taste. 50 seeds per pkg.
