These are excellent and add color to your landscaping also they make a great hedge. If planting these for a hedge they should be planted 2-3′ apart. At maturity and left natural these can reach up to 8 ft in height and 5′ in width These are a considered a slow growing plant 12″ per year or less. You can prune the new growth of these every year to keep them at a desired height. These are hardy in zones 3-8, full sun to partial shade, grows in any soil from sand to clay.
