I’d suggest that you plant several seeds a couple days inches apart. I usually start them in a pot with 4-6 seeds. Single seeds will make a single stem the first year. Multiple will make more of a bush the first year. I’ve added a picture of some I planted several weeks ago. Also, if you get the colors mixed up you can tell the difference by the leaf stems. The red have reddish stems, the white are green.
