Chamaedorea x ‘Soledad’ Hardy Bamboo Palm Up for bid are seeds of the Hardy Bamboo Palm. This small and graceful palm gets great green fronds with unique jointed green bamboo like stems. This is a hybrid between Chamaedorea radicalis and another unknown species – these seeds are produced from several of the hybrid plants pollinating each other, keeping this unique hybrid going. These beautiful plants grow best in part sun to nearly full shade and is one of the more cold hardy in the genus, being hardy to zone 8b, or possibly colder, but they also make one of the best houseplants. Live Cold Hardy Louisiana Full Eclipse Iris Aquatic Marginal Pond Plant

This plant is available for order; begin shipping May 6th This listing is for 1 live Iris plant. Full Eclipse is a hardy Louisiana bog iris. It can easily grow in water to 5 inches above the roots in an 8 inch or wider container with heavy loam soil. This iris will grow to 18” to 36″ tall and has plenty of deep purple flowers, with a splash of sunny yellow in the center. Blooms from May to June. A good grower that will spread quickly, hardy zones 5 – 12. Picture 1 shows a Full Eclipse iris that bloomed in our pond. The second and third pictures are plant size and shape with full roots and 2-5 bladed foliage. These photos of the plant are for your reference only and is not what you will receive. Some marginal plants are grown in 2” net pots and it is recommended that you plant without removing these net pots as not to damage the roots. Plant as you would the lilies, but when adding fertilizer tablets, use 1 tablet for 1 gallon size pots and 2 tablets for 2 or 3 gallon size pots. Marginal plants should be lowered to a depth of only 1 to 3 inches. They grow out of the water and are usually found at the water’s edge.
