West Coast Dune Sunflower Cuttings Unrooted Cuttings Yellow Beach Sunflower FL

July 8, 2026

You will receive unrooted cuttings (quantity of your choosing), each approximately 8” long, from our West Coast Dune Sunflowers growing in sunny Florida. Home grown naturally using regenerative methods with lots of love and zero chemicals or pesticides. You will receive fresh (cut the day I ship your order) unrooted cuttings, just like those in photos. Growing Info & TipsWest Coast Dune Sunflower, Helianthus debilis subsp. vestitus, is a perennial native to the West Coast of Florida, from Pinellas County south to Lee County, Zones 8-11. The West Coast Dune Sunflower is native to the West coast of Florida only. There is also an East Coast Dune Sunflower and it’s important to grow the one that corresponds with your location to preserve the identity and ecological roles of both & prevent hybridization. As a native, the West Coast Dune Beach Sunflower naturally grows very easily with little care once established. Its small yellow blooms are bright and cheery year round and are loved by the pollinators. It grows well in full sun to part shade and grows great in our native sandy soil. It’s best to give it some room to grow and spread, which is does rather quickly once established growing approx. 1.5-2 tall by 4-5 ft wide. For Propagating the West Coast Dune Sunflower Cuttings:Please put the cuttings in small glass of water as soon as possible upon arrival, if you’re not ready to plant right away. Put the cuttings in pots with a nice with pre- moistened potting mix, burying the stem of each cutting about 1.5-2” into the soil. If you like, you can use a natural rooting hormone (like honey water or aloe) to help them along, although I have never found this necessary. I like to start the cuttings in pots outside under my trees for some partial shade. Keep the soil moist but not soggy! You should see new growth and roots within a few weeks time (2-4 weeks). Once established, you can transplant them into to ground or continue to grow them in containers. Please Note: All of my cuttings are fresh and viable. Growing plants is fun! The majority of the time it is a success but sometimes it’s not. This just is the way it is with nature and gardening. I hope you experience success with all the cuttings, however because I am not there to plant them, I cannot be responsible for rooting failure due to improper planting or climate conditions etc. I do include a detailed note with planting advice with your order to help ensure your success. Shipping of Cuttings: I ship my cuttings via the Postal Service, USPS, as a First Class package with tracking. I will freshly cut the cuttings on the same day that i ship them to you. I will package them in a moist paper towel with great care to ensure safe delivery to you. These are fresh cuttings that will need to be planted upon their arrival to you. Pereskiopsis spathulata PERES GRAFTING CACTUS – 3 pieces healthy unrooted cactus

July 8, 2026

Listing is for THREE unrooted peres cuttings. Most are about 6″ long, there will be some variation. I have a lot of these and most are still growing in pots. You may get the actual cuttings shown in the photos or they may be near identical cuttings from the same stock. They will be about the same size and in the same excellent health. If new cuttings are taken will make sure they harden off before packing up so it’s possible there could be a delay of up to 4 days before I put these in the mail, unless you request otherwise. Extremely hardy and extremely easy to propagate. You could probably literally drop these onto the ground or a pot of soil and come back in a few weeks to find them already rooting. But better to stick them by stems a couple inches into the ground and water whenever the soil is dry. Would recommend starting in a semi shaded area but if you just placed these into direct sunlight right away they would probably still do fine. Great for grafting. You can take a tiny fragile seedling and graft onto the top and it can speed up growth by an order of magnatude. Last 6 listing photos show my first attempt at grafting with Peres. EXTREME CARE should be taken when handling as these have serious spines and also the tiny glochnoids which are almost invisible but can get under your skin. It’s OK to lift them up by the leaves but otherwise you want to use gloves and salad tong type instrument. ————————————————————————————————Shipping only in lower 48 US states. Payment in US dollars from Paypal accounts registered in the USA only. If your Paypal account was not registered in the US please do not purchase but contact me and may be able to set up a special listing for you.
