Asclepias arenaria is a species of milkweed shrub in the Asclepiadaceae Family coming from the Genus Asclepias. Common names include Sand Milkweed or Western Sand Milkweed. These herbaceous perennials Native ranges are Wyoming and South Dakota down to Texas. Growing two to four feet tall with clusters of flowers cream white to light yellow bloom June through August.
