Spacemaster Cucumber Seeds | NON-GMO, Organic

July 8, 2026

Spacemaster Cucumber Seeds | NON-GMO, OrganicDetails: • Common Name: Spacemaster Cucumber• Type: Vegetable Seeds, Heirloom • Light Preference: Full Sun• USDA Zone Hardiness: 4-11• Days to Germination: 5 – 10 days (Jump start by soaking seeds in water overnight right before planning)• Days to Maturity: 55-60 Days• Sow Method: Direct Sow & Transplant• Planting Time: Spring• Seed Depth: 1/2″• Plant Spacing: Approx. 10″- 12″ apart• Fruit Size: 7-9″ Best if used by 2026 We only use tracking on orders $10+. Cucumbers don’t take well to transplanting, so either start them early in peat pots or sow them directly. When 2 or 3 leaves appear on each plant, cut off all but the strongest plant with a scissors. Since they love to climb, providing a trellis will save space in your garden, and produce straighter cucumbers that are easier to pick. Planting several radishes with cucumbers seems to repel damaging cucumber beetles, but they don’t like being planted near potatoes or aromatic herbs. The spacemaster cucumber is a compact cucumber variety that is ideal for containers or hanging baskets, making it the perfect option for the small space urban gardener. It requires only 1/3rd of the space normally needed for growing cukes. It’s short, hardy, 2-3 ft. vines produce slender, dark green fruits around 7-8 inches long. Spacemaster is super prolific and produces cucumbers that are great in salads or eaten straight off the vine. When picked young, they make for great pickling cucumbers. This variety is also resistant to cucumber mosaic virus and scab. Gardening for happiness!

1000++ Genovese Basil Seeds | NON-GMO | Heirloom – USA FREE SHIPPING

July 8, 2026

Welcome you to Smartbuyforever! We are a leading Seeds provider for several years! We provide fresh and high-quality Heirlooms seeds, NON-GMO and organic seeds to home gardeners and other’s Growers! Our main offerings: Hundreds of heirloom, rare, beautiful flowers and Herbs and Vegetables seeds. Especially we provide hard to find Herb and flowers seeds! Genovese Basil Seeds | NON-GMO | Heirloom Sowing: Since basil thrives in warm weather, it grows best when the soil has warmed and there is no chance of frost. Gardeners with short growing seasons may want to start their Genovese basil seeds indoors 3-4 weeks before the last frost date, sowing them thinly in flats and providing heat to speed germination. Transplant 15-18″ apart. To direct sow, plant the seeds 1/4″ deep in rich soil and full sun, thinning to 15-18″ apart when the seedlings develop. Basil also grows well indoors or as a container plant. Growing: Basil thrives in soil that drains well, yet needs water often. If the weather drops below 50 degrees, provide protection. As the plant grows, pruning it helps it to develop into a bushy, healthy plant; pruning is also important because once the plant flowers, it will begin to wilt and die. To prune the plant, remove the top several sets of leaves on each stem, taking care to leave at least three sets of leaves on the lower part. Harvesting: Basil leaves can be harvested as soon as they reach a height of 6-8″. The best time to harvest the leaves is in the morning after the dew dries. After the plant is established, harvesting often actually improves production; once the flowers develop, however, the leaves grow bitter to the taste. Remove single leaves or parts of a stem as needed, taking care to leave at least three sets of leaves on the length of the stem for healthy growth. When harvesting, pinch off the stem directly above the next set of leaves. Fresh basil will keep for several days at room temperature, with the stems in a glass of water; if refrigerated, it tends to wilt and turn brown. Basil also freezes and dries well. Since the water content of basil is very high and it can mold easily, the best method for drying is a dehydrator, an oven, or a similar dry, warm location. Seed Saving: After the flowers have finished blooming, the Genovese basil seeds will begin to develop. Harvest the clusters of pods when they turn brown, and spread them out to dry in a protected location away from direct sunlight. Thresh the heads to remove the seed, and clean out as much of the chaff as possible. Store Genovese basil seeds in a cool, dry place. 100+ Daikon Radish Seeds – Heirloom | Non GMO, Daikon Japanese | USA

July 8, 2026

Welcome you to Smartbuyforever! We are a leading Seeds provider for many years! Radish Seeds – Daikon The flavor is mild compared to other radishes and looks more like a carrot. Daikon has high water content and is very low in calories. It is rich in vitamin C, potassium and folate and a good source of magnesium. The leaves contain beta-carotene, calcium and iron besides vitamin C. The Daikon root has a crisp, mild flavour and is excellent fresh in salads. Roots can be peeled, sliced, grated, diced for soups and stews, boiled whole or dehydrated as strips. Rabbits, goats, cows, hogs will enjoy the roots and chickens relish the tops! Diakons are a hardy staple on our farm! We allow animals to graze entire fields planted as a cover crop. Excellent for breaking up the soil, improves water penetration and allowing surface level nutrients down root channels. This has been deemed “bio-drilling”. In research plots, four times as many corn roots penetrated a compact subsoil after a forage radish cover crop as after winter fallow and twice as many as after a rye cover crop. Data suggests that biodrilling with cover crops like forage radish can substitute for expensive and energy intensive deep ripping and other mechanical methods to alleviate the effects of soil compaction. They're allelopathic, which means they give off a biochemical (glycosinolate compounds) that inhibits weed growth. Free Shipping: All orders are shipped by USPS First Class Mail. Only orders $12 or more will include free tracking information. Customer care: First of all thanks for your purchase . If you have any issues with your order please Just leave us a message and we'll promptly resolve the issue for you. We are always here for customer support.
