1 OZ ~30,000 Phalaris Arundinacea Seeds, Reed Canary Grass, 30 grams entheogen

July 9, 2026

“Reed Canary Grass” Thirty Grams, a Full Ounce, or about 30,000 Untreated, raw seeds for planting. Phalaris ArundinaceaMy entheogenic seed sales help fund Erowid, including Canary Grass. SEED: Latin Name: Phalaris Arundinacea Net weight: 30 grams, big bulk packPerennial. Easy to grow prairie grass that likes water and sun, but tolerates everything from shade to near drought, and looks like upright crabgrass until it flowers and seeds. Dies down in winter to re-sprout in Spring. Usually flowers in its second year. Nice quality seeds, clean packs. Grows all over the USA naturally (especially well-suited for the corn belt), tolerates heat, drought, floods, shade and full sun. Very versatile plant. Looks much like lawn grass or common weeds, but taller. A simple spiked reed with broad wonderful seed clusters that distinguish this species from its look-alikes. Phalaris Arundinacaea is a legal, perennial grass that reaches five to six feet in height and grows prolifically, especially around wetlands, open prairie-land and ditches. It is commonly referred to as “reed canary grass” because it is grown as a pet bird seed favored by canaries. Phalaris is also used to feed cattle, is planted as a form of soil erosion control, and is even grown as an ornamental grass in some landscaping. It can be easily grown in clumps to provide inexpensive decoration for rock gardens and beds. Once established, it requires no maintenance and can reproduce by seeds or creeping rhizomes (not creepy, just spreading). Mature seeds can be harvested once the tops have dried on the plant. Seeds with straw are used in some flower arrangements, as are wheat straw. Thrives in wet or dry environments, in marshes or in dry prairies, partial or full sun. Tear out your silly lawn and plant magic reed grass! A magical but deceptively plain plant from the American plains, Phalaris is chemically rich in certain elements that have been used traditionally in shaman work as a Sacred Doorway to the Spirit World. Pet birds love these seeds. Humans love the plant’s juices and dried leaves for their shaman work. Even botanical experts have trouble distinguishing this plant from crab grass and other common weeds, so this is a great plant for subversive growers. Phalaris has to go to seed to see the distinctions between it and other common weeds! Growing Information Sow seeds on the surface of any raked soil and make sure to keep well-watered until established. The seeds may be sown directly in the ground or they can be started in pots so that the maturing clumps can be transplanted. Plant seeds or grass in full sun for best growth. This grass can tolerate shade, if necessary. Likes water. Tolerates constant wet feet. Also tolerates drought. A very versatile plant. These seeds are NOT treated or altered in any way, no GMO BS, no death genes, no Monsanto tinkering; one of God’s little miracles, from the Creator to you via the Sacred Spirit of the Great White Buffalo. Blessings from White Buffalo Trading and ‘Datura’ Don. Shipping: Free Domestic shipping on most ADDITIONAL seed bags. I always combine shipping. Mix and match by clicking on add to cart. USPS ground advantage or Priority mail. Be sure to add me to your favorites list! Thanks for Looking and Many Blessings on your Life Journey!
