We have learned a great deal about seedling production, proper storage, handling and identification of quality seeds to be able to offer you the finest and freshest seeds available. Here is another of our prized offerings: 100 SWISS CHARD SPRING SALAD GARDEN VEGETABLE SEEDS HEIRLOOM MICROGREENS NON-GMO * Swiss chard is super fast growing and loves cooler Spring temperatures!* Swiss chard is beautiful in appearance with its large leaf blades and red stems that resemble glistening rhubarb and looks great in a salad!* Our swiss chard is open-pollinated and makes a wonderful complement to salads with their rich flavor and high antioxidant levels. * Open-pollinated swiss chard is used extensively in Mediterranean cuisine.* Swiss Chard has a unique ability to uptake salt in the soil and store it in its tissues. * They’ll do very good in a container or window box. * Swiss Chard is excellent for small space gardens like apartment balconies. * They’re chock full of phytonutrients and antioxidants and a great variety for microgreens. * Swiss Chard is also becoming quite popular for juicing due to its abundance of healthy properties and great flavor.* They have the ability to regrow after some of the leaves have been removed so you do not have to constantly reseed after harvesting. It first spread to India than to China through an ancient Chinese who named it ‘Persia vegetable’. Now spinach is popularly used all over the world. Planting sow the seeds in deeply worked soil 1/2″ deep 2″ apart in rows 12-18″apart, later thinning the seedling 4-8″ apart.
