We have learned a great deal about seedling production, proper storage, handling and identification of quality seeds to be able to offer you the finest and freshest seeds available. Here is another of our prized offerings: 3000+ MOSS ROSE GRANDIFLORA SPRING MIX SEEDS FLOWERS GROUNDCOVER DROUGHT TOLERANT USA * Our moss rose grandiflora mix produces yellow, white, red, pink and orange flowers.* Moss rose grandiflora mix serves as a beautiful, eye catching groundcover with vibrant colored flowers and succulent like leaves!* Moss Roses are an excellent plant choice for water conservation. They are well suited to hot, arid climates like California.* Portulaca is referred to by many names including rose moss, moss roses, purslane, sun plant etc…* Moss Rose or Portulaca is one of the most beautiful and adaptable species of flowers in the world often seen growing in drier areas.* Moss Roses have sedum like foliage that has a fleshy, thick succulent leaves that help it cope with very dry conditions.* Portulaca are not fussy in their growing conditions and will do equally well as bedding plants or container plants. They look great in pots with their trailing habit!* Portulaca is also known as purslane and can be eaten cooked!* They are low growing spreaders and can fill in area nicely and be considered a ground cover or alternative lawn if not walked on heavily.* Moss Roses are a great plant to fill in cracks or crevices where other plants might struggle. An alternative technique is to place seeds on pre-moistened paper towel. Fold the moistened towel over the seeds to ensure seeds contact with moisture. Place the paper towel in a ziploc bag and refrigerate for 2-3 weeks then sow as normal.Sowing-Direct or IndoorsDays to Maturity-~75Sowing Depth-Surface Sow and press gently in pre-moistened seedling mix but make sure they’re not covered as they need light for germination!
