Crimson Clover Cover Crop Seeds For Planting – NON-GMO – Heirloom – Inoculated

July 8, 2026

View our other clover seed listings: Dutch White Clover Ladino Clover Medium Red Clover Crimson Clover (Trifolium incarnatum). This annual legume is not only beautiful with its vibrant crimson blooms but also beneficial for soil fertility as it fixes nitrogen. It’s a fantastic cover crop and a favorite among pollinators like bees and butterflies. Get started on your Crimson Clover patch with our high-quality seeds and enjoy free shipping! These seeds are inoculated(coated) for improved nitrogen fixation.Inoculated Seed: Legume seeds that are inoculated have been treated with beneficial bacteria called rhizobia. These bacteria help the plants fix nitrogen from the air, promoting healthy growth and enriching the soil.Uncoated Seed: Raw legume seeds, also known as uncoated seeds, have not been treated with rhizobia bacteria. They rely on naturally occurring bacteria in the soil to establish a symbiotic relationship and fix nitrogen. All seed counts are approximate.Planting Instructions:Choose a well-draining location with full sun.Prepare the soil by loosening it and removing weeds.Sow seeds directly outdoors in spring or fall, spreading them evenly over the area.Lightly rake the soil to cover the seeds, ensuring they are no deeper than 1/4 inch.Water gently and keep the soil consistently moist until germination occurs in 7-14 days.Once established, water as needed, particularly during dry periods. *Seed shipments will be in the mail within one day except weekends and USPS holidays – Orders placed Fri-Sun will ship Monday. * Please leave feedback to help our small business keep growing. *If you have any issues with your order please reach out right away and it will be handled to your satisfaction promptly!
